Gaborone Fashion Weekend 2012 - Heaven In A Hall
The weekend we had all been waiting for came and drifted all the fashion religious into a little heaven in a hall. The amount of excitement bestowed among everyone could just show from miles away, it was my very first time attending the biggest fashion event in the country so yes i was bound to get a heart attack caused by my excitement. You know what they say, a picture can say a thousand words, NOW ALLOW!
THE EXHIBITION
THE RUNWAY
Some of the designers showing were Mummy Molapo, Butlhe Mguni, Lesley Mmolokele, Sino Ragontse, Aobakwe Molosiwa, Botho Chalebgwa, Lebo Merafhe and Fatima Mekgwe. Their collections were all so daring yet simple, also daring at the same time.
THE PEOPLE
I was very much impressed by everyone who attended this event, their out fits bled style in every way possible i could not just deal at all, it's amazing how this city has many style potentials and they only come out on such events.
Thank you to every one who came to my blog and read about the event, Although the first night was for emerging designers, and the turn out wasn't as strong, the second night proved to be the best attended and more of a success, to the delight of the established designers showing on that night. Look out for more of this story on Pristine Mag and ElleSA where i am featured. Stay stylish ♥

Street Style Wednesday
Yes we may have fashion events going on all over the world, hot blonde models + hot dark skinned models walking the ramp on run way shows but fact the remains, the streets are my major inspiration & are the runway which you don't need international modelling standards to walk on. I'm totally impressed about how the people of my current city (Gaborone, Botswana) worship and follow fashion. Yesterday my friend Diana Kemunto Akara & I decided to go on a street style mission and i was surprised to see how the public is fashion forward, coming across what to look out for on the coming season & all that. I have one word for you, RELATE :)
Stay stylish, stay following & stay skiming :-)
